AND ANOTHER THING True story: the head of Vanguard actually went looking for Daphne Willis after he heard songs from the 22-year-old singer/songwriter’s self-released 2007 EP on an airline’s in-flight music program! Now, Willis is preparing to release her debut full-length, What To Say, which she recorded in Chicago and Nashville, and initially planned to release on her own. Willis began performing in her late teens.
